The most Amazing Product Ever...

Greg and I had to take down some wallpaper, and we were not excited about doing this job at all. I did a little research on the computer regarding wall paper removal. Basically all the instructions were the same, a few sites mentioned different products. We tried DIF, which worked okay, but not great. Then I found this amazing product called Wallwik. You score the wall with their tool. Then you take these fibrous sheets and soak them in this Wallwik solution. You place them on the wall and let the solution soak into the wall paper. After 20 minutes you come back spray the wall with a little more solution. You wait 20 more minutes and then, literally, the wall paper falls off the walls. It is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I am no longer scared of wall paper. Amazing. It is available at wallwik.com.

Happy Mother's Day

Since it is Mother's Day I decided to add 3 special songs to my blog. When each of my daughter's were born I created a disc with a special song that made me think of them when I heard it played. I took the disc and put it in their baby book.

Angela's song is You are so beautiful to Me by Joe Cocker. When I had Angela I had wanted a baby girl for so long and she was just so beautiful to me. That song just seemed to work.

When Lindsey was born there was something about her that I knew was different. Lindsey has always been so happy and is such a leader to others. I want her to embrace those qualities but also remember that there is greatness beyond her and acknowledge God in all things. Lindsey's song is I hope you dance.

When Savannah was born she really was such a blessing to our family. She was such a good baby. She slept and ate so well. Since Angela and Lindsey were getting older by the time Savannah was born I remember looking at her not so much as a baby, but more as an extension of what she would become. Savannah's song is In my daughter's Eyes by Martina McBride.

When I look at my daughter's I feel as though I have accomplished something great. I always remind myself of the importance of my children and try to be a good example and influence in their lives. I am so thankful for my own mother and the wonderful example she has been to me. Motherhood is the most special calling we are given as women. I hope we always remember to value it.

Angela at Pom Camp

Angela attended Pom Camp today. They give the girls 2 hours to learn the routine. Then the parents arrive and the girls perform their routine for an audience. Angela did an excellent job. She did so good that they moved her from the 3rd grade group up to the 6th and 7th grade group. Angela is in a red shirt and dark pants.

A little visit...

Aunt Barbara, Grandma Johnston and Aunt Penny stopped by to visit us for one day. It was so nice to have them. I wished they could have stayed longer. We love it when family stops by to visit.

Lindsey the Lion dancing her tail off...

Lindsey's dance group performed at a Senior Citizen home last Saturday to practice their dance for the recital. Here is the video. Lindsey is in the center. She is the 3rd from the right.

Lindsey the Lion

Lindsey joined a tap and ballet class last August. They have their performance in June. In order for the girls to be ready for the June performance, the teachers decided to have the girls perform at a senior citizen center today. Lindsey's group is dressed as lions. They are dancing to the song "I just can't wait to be King" from The Lion King." I wasn't able to be there today to watch her show. I was so bummed. I had two of my finals today at the exact time of the show. Greg video taped it for me so I could see it. Lindsey did a great job. We took her out to dinner and Cold stone to celebrate her performance. Where do my children get their sense of rhythm? It's not from me.
