Sunday Best...

Greg and I both love bow-ties on little boys. When we saw this little bow-tie we knew we had to get it. After having 3 girls I do enjoy dressing a little boy...and as far as little boys go I think we got pretty lucky with this one.

Busy,Busy,Busy...

Here are some recent pictures of the kids. They are growing up so fast. I love watching
them play and hang out together. It makes me so happy when Lindsey
tells a joke and Angela laughs a real genuine laugh. Even though our life is busier now than I could have ever imagined...we are in a good place. At the end of the week after 2 piano lessons, 6 dance lessons, 1 gymnastic lesson, 1 soccer practice and game we are tired...and I wouldn't have it any other way...and truthfully I am going to miss it when it is gone. I had two papers due for my school this week so this week was a little busier than usual, but I will try and be better about blogging.

Sisterly - Love
Those are some kissable cheeks...I can't even count how many kisses that little boy receives
in a day.

This is Savannah...never boring...always up for a good time! By the way she is doing
GREAT on her potty training! Go Savannah!

Chad is doing so much better sitting up in his chair...

Chad at 6 months...just being his cute, happy self. He started taking a bottle and eating food this week. Go Chad...my little man is growing up...

Soccer is not for the weak...

Saturday was Lindsey's 1st Soccer game. Lindsey was so nervous before the game she alternated between crying and explaining to me all the reason why it was okay if she skipped the game.
As we were sitting on the sidelines Lindsey ran by us and yelled out with a smile, "I didn't think it was going to be like this!!" Greg and I looked at each other and said, "What does that mean? Is that good or bad?" We figured the smile meant it was good.

Lindsey did such an awesome job. She was aggressive...she was all over the ball. I even saw her break out her Super Run a few times.

Since this was their first game the kids took turns playing goalie. Lindsey did really well, she would move to each side of the net depending on where the ball was at. All the sudden the ball was kicked at the net...Lindsey kicked the ball out...and then took off with the ball down the field. Apparently this girl can't be contained by a net...she needs to be where the action is. Greg and I started yelling, "Lindsey get back to the net!" Lindsey just laughed and ran back to the net. We thought, "Whew...maybe she just didn't understand what the goalie's job is?" Greg went over and talked to her. Nope...next time the ball was kicked at the net...again Lindsey takes off with the ball down the field. It was quite funny because they are still young, however she's may not be asked to play goalie when she gets older... We asked her after the game if she understood that she was supposed to stay at the net? She said, "If I stay at the net I don't get to play as much." I think maybe she's just not goalie material...

Chad has such a great time watching Lindsey play soccer. He thinks his sisters are just hilarious. I think he's right...their pretty entertaining. Oh by the way...Lindsey's team won their 1st game. Go Lindsey!!

Just a little Soccer fun...

This is a video of Lindsey and Savannah before Lindsey's 1st Soccer practice. Make sure you turn your sound on the laughter is the best part.

My little Soccer Star...

I will start this post with a little honesty. I'm really not a soccer person. When I was in high school I went to a soccer game to watch a friend. I could not understand why anyone would want to play or watch soccer. Don't get me wrong I love competitive sports. I have strongly encouraged Angela and Lindsey to play sports. I think kids should learn team work and all the other stuff that comes with team sports. Lindsey is an awesome dancer, but I really felt like she needed something else also. I talked to some of her friends Mother's about which sports their daughters play. Apparently...it is soccer. Happy day! Anyway, after a fair amount of talking I convinced Lindsey to try soccer before she got too much older. She finally agreed. Yesterday was her first practice. Lindsey was so excited. Greg was off work so he was able to take her... I had to take Angela to dance practice. Lindsey came home from soccer so happy. She said that she didn't just enjoy it a little, she enjoyed it a lot. She said since they have a game this Saturday she is going to save her super run for this Saturday. I can't wait to see that. I don't know if I have ever seen a super run before. Well...I've concluded that anything that makes Lindsey this happy can't be all bad. I'm actually looking forward to her first game this Saturday.

Poor Guy...

This is what happens when you have 3 older sisters. Poor Guy! It's not because he doesn't have plenty of blue blankets, it's just because Savannah is convinced that he wants this pink blanket. Maybe he does...he does look happy!

Back from a Break...

This is actually the second day of school. Angela wanted me to post the picture that showed her with her Safety Patrol belt on, and she didn't receive her belt until the 1st day of school. Both the girls were so tired the first week of school. Apparently living like Rock Stars all summer makes it difficult to adjust back to a regular schedule. They are doing much better now. I really miss them being at home. Angela and Lindsey are both at the age where you can share wonderful conversations and funny jokes. I love it when my kids get to the age when you say something funny and they get it.
